Heat the wrap with the warmth of your hands and cover the container or wrap the rest of the food with it. The Peelo thus adapts perfectly to any shape.
After use, rinse with lukewarm water, use eco-friendly detergent and a soft sponge if necessary. Allow to dry freely or wipe with a cloth.
Direct contact with raw meat, fish or moldy cheeses is not recommended. Leave such food in the container and cover it.
Do not put the packaging in hot water, microwave or expose it to direct sunlight, it will damage the wax coating.Do not leave it in a permanently humid environment either.

Does Peelo need to be washed before first use?
No, the packaging does not need to be washed before the first use, it is immediately ready for use.
Which foods can be wrapped in Peel?
Hard cheeses, breads and pastries, fruits and vegetables, herbs, sandwiches or sandwiches. Peelo can also be used to cover a bowl with spread, sourdough or to cover a cake tin.
Which foods to avoid?
Be especially wary of raw meat, raw fish and moldy cheeses. In addition, Peelo may be less tolerant of fruits that have higher acidity, such as pineapple.
How to properly pack food in Peelo?
Warm the wax wrapper a little with your hands, it will be easier to handle. Coat the food with Peel on each side, gently pressing down to ensure the wrapping adheres properly and to squeeze out any excess air. That's it!
Ako skladovať pečivo v Peelo?
Voskový vak s pečivom alebo chlebom je vhodné skladovať na vzdušnom mieste bez zdroja tepla, priameho svetla a vlhka. Nie je potrebné dávať vak do chlebníka, je v poriadku ho mať len položený na linke.
Odporúčame vak aspoň 1x denne otvoriť, skontrolovať stav pečiva vo vnútri, zároveň sa tak vymení vzduch.
Pečivo po vychladnutí môžete vložiť priamo vo vaku, netreba ho dávať do plastového sáčku a tak do vaku.

Can Peelo be washed in the washing machine or dishwasher?
No, Peelo does not belong in the washing machine or dishwasher.
Can the packaging become discoloured from food?
Yes, some crops such as beetroot, strawberries or even different sauces can colour the packaging, giving Peelo a colourful patina over time. However, to keep it as clean as possible, wash it as soon as possible after use, but always only in cold or lukewarm water. Or put the ingredients with strong pigment in a bowl and cover it.
Can the smell of beeswax be transferred to food?
Yes, it can. This happens especially at the beginning, when the packaging is new and the scent is the most intense. If you want to avoid this, just wash the wrapper a few times, the scent will fade until it gradually disappears completely.
How do I store Peelo properly when I'm not using it?
Clean and dry packaging should be stored in a dry, dark place away from heat or direct sunlight, such as a food cupboard.
Can Peelo go in the fridge and freezer?
Clear, put food wrapped in Peelo boldly in the refrigerator. The peelo can also go in the freezer, but for a maximum of 1 month, and after removing it, let it warm up a bit at room temperature, otherwise the wax layer may crack.

The packaging has too strong a smell. Is there anything that can be done about it?
Beeswax fragrance is a natural part of our wax packaging. It is most intense at the beginning and can be uncomfortable for some. In this case, just wash the Peelo several times under a stream of lukewarm water with eco-friendly detergent. The smell will weaken and disappear with repeated use.
Can food go mouldy in Peelo?
Yes, it can happen. Any food that stays in its packaging for an unreasonable amount of time will mould at some point.
What to do if food moulds in Peelo? Can the packaging still be saved?
Even if something has gone moldy in Peelo, nothing may be lost and the cover can still be salvaged. However, it depends on what stage the mould is at.
If you catch it in time, it is possible to save the Peelo by giving it a good scrubbing - a gentle but thorough scrubbing with a sponge and detergent. In the case of a wax bag, it needs to be turned inside out. Then let the peelo dry freely.
If after drying you still feel that the mould has not been completely cleaned, just to be sure, place the Peelo in an oven heated to 90 degrees on baking paper (in the case of a bag, we recommend that you also place one baking paper between the two layers of the bag so that they don't stick together), and leave the Peelo in there like that for 2-3 minutes. The wax layer is thus restored and the high temperature should also destroy the remaining mould particles.
However, if the mould is advanced and you can still feel it after these attempts, we recommend that you cut the Peelo and compost it, or use it as kindling for a fire, as we do not recommend its continued use.
What to do with Peelo packaging when it has outlived its usefulness?
When Peelo is really at the end of its life cycle, you can cut it into small pieces and throw it in the compost. Or cut it into longer strips, twist them and you can use them as kindling for the fireplace in the fireplace or on the barbecue.
